This formed part of our strategic involvement with the redesign of the unit trusts website and design of a conversion funnel to drive users further down the point of investing.
With the increasing demand of video to define, explain and promote subjects, we wanted to do the same for a product that is typically explained in long written text, often using terms not that familiar to the average Joe. We found that the concept of a unit trust often sounds more complicated than it actually is and after a brainstorm session with client, we found a metaphor that we felt best explained it. The product was defined and its benefits explained in the form of a 2D infographic video that was posted on the unit trust homepage. The video has since been viewed 4,000+ times and has contributed to an increase of close to 20% a level down the website conversion funnel.
