Sanlam Investments FoodWineDesign Blender Baker Beermaker App

For three months leading up to a sponsored FoodWineDesign event in Johannesburg, we developed and promoted an online community on Facebook to engage fans. With a goal of 15,000 users and a budget for Facebook and email marketing, we created three Facebook apps for users to design their own pizza, wine, or craft beer. These designs were stored in a database, and the most popular were produced and served at the event. The campaign exceeded expectations, attracting 15,198 fans and 9,264 online product creations. Our analytics showed that 87% of users who started one of the design apps completed it, and 64.5% of those who completed their design shared their creations on Facebook, inviting more participation.
